Because if I have the baby before the 20th, he doesn’t qualify to get Family Leave from his job.
So now he doesn’t want me doing anything that could put me into labor early.
I was planning on starting red raspberry leaf tea, evening primrose oil, and bouncing on my exercise ball tomorrow, since I’ll be 37 weeks. I know the tea and the evening primrose oil wont PUT me into labor, but I was sort of hoping it would either prepare my body more, make labor easier, or just prevent me from going to 42 weeks and having to be induced.
Kyle probably wont want me starting any of these things now =/ Dangit.
It’s like when he reprimands me for squeezing colostrum out of my nipples just to see if I can get a drop (I think it’s seriously cool) because he’s worried my milk will come in and baby will miss out on colostrum, or that it will put me into labor. :P
I put this glider and ottoman on my registry. I didn’t expect anyone to buy it for us, or that we would ever have the money to buy it ourselves….but I put it on there anyway because it was sort of my dream glider/ottoman.
The glider cost $359.99 and the Ottoman cost $139.99.
So after my baby shower we returned a lot of stuff and ended up having a ton of store credit.
We saw the ottoman on clearance for $70, and bought it. Then today we went to get the glider with the 15% off we got for the stuff remaining on our registry.
So after all of our coupons and discounts and such, we got the glider for $239! And we still have store credit left over. Wooo!
I feel really good today. haha.
